THIS DAY IN HISTORY May 1: International Workers Day

#tdih May 1 International Workers Day began as a commemoration of the 1886 Haymarket Riot in Chicago. Celebrated around the world, except in the U.S. where May 1 is “Law Day” and Labor is “honored” with sales in September.
Artwork can be ordered as a poster or notecard from Ricardo Levins Morales.
Please make a donation to the Zinn Ed Project so that we can reach more classrooms with labor history lessons. #teachoutsidetextbook
