The folks at Scripps are already calling Edith Fuller the latest “spellebrity.” She beat eighth-graders and other students in Tulsa., Okla., to advance to the big bee.

The 5-year-old beat kids more than twice her age to get through her regional competition. The home-schooled Oklahoman’s training regimen sounds intense: “My mommy asked me words, and every time I misspelled one, I would look at it.”
